Sometimes I can't remember the bad times.
Sometimes you can't remember the good ones.

I remember we watched the world premier.
I remember this song touched our hearts.

A cord of 3 strands...
The closeness between us seemed so clear.

I wonder if a score was really counted.
Which of our wrongs would be discounted. 

Around here we're friends with Mr. Jones.
But that was before we lived in separate homes. 

I don't seem to know what actually happened.
It seems you do.

About any of this we need not worry.

Seems that if God were one of us.
Wandering lost like the rest of us.
