It's time for some truth.
I walked away. 

Twice. 

Isn't that nice. 

Rotting corpses in the ground.
But the stench follows me around. 

Like an onion peel.
Layer after layer. 

Bringing tears to my eyes.
Bitter to my core. 

The stench remains.
The way it makes me feel.

I look into the past.
How long will this last. 

The memories are stained.
The explanation strained.  

I had something to do.
Answer this question.

Or you were them.

What would you think then?

Wanting to forget. 

Everyone talking.
No solution offered yet. 

Gone but not.
